You’ve now got two travel options. Why would you only choose one?

That’s right. You actually have two choices of when to travel to Ireland in the summer of 2026. Just when you thought you couldn’t get enough, we’ve upped the ante and raised the bar. In an important way, we’ve stayed out later than we should. Yes, we’ve exceeded expectations.

The first choice is the official Clover’s Revenge trip, which we’ve called the Leaving Home: Clover’s Revenge Tour Of Ireland 2026. It will feature many of the elements that travelers love about our famous trips. Our band trip will run from September 11 to September 21, 2026 (which is a little longer than usual). We will be starting in Dublin, and then we will visit several incredible cities on the Southern part of Ireland: Wexford, Kilkenny, Cork, Killarney. On our last night we will be back in Dublin. The focus of our band trip will be on the immigration story,. With any luck, we will learn about what our grandparents and great grandparents went through when they came to Amerikay. Lee, who is famous, will be our driver.

The second travel option will be a totally new experience. John has started a travel company, which he has called Rising Road Journeys, in order to host trips to Ireland. These trips will never exceed 15 people and feature stays at boutique hotels, B&Bs, and guest houses. The goal of these excursions is to really dive into an exploration of Ireland’s history, landscape and culture. This new tour will be called Discover Ancient Ireland and it will run from August 26 to September 4, 2026.
