First off, Happy New Years! It is our deepest and most sincere hope that you are all well and happy. 2022 is going to be different! It’s going to be big!  To accentuate that point, January has been amazing, and February looks like it’s going to be great too!

We’re delighted to share that we are performing at the first annual Sarasota Trio Festival. Included in the fun are three incredible acts. And us.

On a more sincere note, we feel that there is a unique musical experience that a person can only get from playing in, and appreciating, musical trios. Sarasota has some fantastic three-piece musical acts, and we saw the opportunity to present a few of them, in this unique way, to really celebrate that certain element that talented trios can bring an audience.

Simply Greek Food Truck will be providing amazing food to Festival attendees.

Here’s their delicious menu.

4:00 – 4:55 – Hot Club SRQ – This trio of virtuosos performs Gypsy Jazz rooted in the stylings of Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli. With more than a decade of musical camaraderie together, these three deliver a unique and moving musical experience.

5:15 – 6:10 – Sycamore Shade – This very talented trio performs old time folk and bluegrass, as well as other, contemporary tunes, and writes original music, with a homemade acoustic feel.  With a traditional style and front porch Appalachian instrumentation, these guys sing gorgeous harmonies.

Clover's Revenge at Pub 32 on St. Patrick's Day

6:30-7:25 – Clover’s Revenge – I have no idea what we’re doing on stage with these other bands.

7:45 – 8:40 – RJ Howson Trio – It’s a treat to listen to Chicago Blues player RJ Howson and any of the incredible ensembles he puts together. In this case, he’s bringing a trio, and if experience is any indicator, they will be wildly talented.
