Summary – Mostly zero stars. Some exceptions. We’re happy that we’re all still alive.

You should know that when we founded Clover’s Revenge as an Irish punk band, we began the rich tradition of giving away gifts of unspeakable value to one of the brave souls willing to come and listen to us play. As it turns out, our first (and now most infamous) gift was a generous, double-ply roll of toilet paper, signed by the band.

We’d like nothing more than to take credit for knowing that toilet paper would become one of the hardest things to find on the shelf in 2020. But we can’t, being predominantly honest most of the time.

We didn’t see it coming – none of us did. Here’s a short list of some of our firsts

Firsts For Us In 2020

Mar 17, 2020 – Our Vth birthday, on the day all the pubs were shut down. That was supposed to be a great day. Pretty shite birthday, all things considered. A bad day for Celtic rock all around.

The world went digital, and we all saw each other on Zoom and Facebook Live. We had three shows, and were grateful for them.

Three Facebook Live concerts –

Jun 13, 2020 – Paddy Rock Radio

Jun 25, 2020 – London Celtic Punks

Aug 22, 2020 – Irish Music Magazine

Aug 2020 – Album Review (scroll down) in Irish Music Magazine (suspiciously complimentary for an Irish rock band)

Oct 2, 2020 – Our return was at Cafe in the Park – such fun to return to that special place

Nov 17, 2020 – First digital milestone that might actually kind of be worth a shit – 200,000 Spotify streams

Nov 28, 2020 – First show at Mary Margaret’s Olde Irish Pub – where have you been all our lives?

Dec 5, 2020 – First show at 3 Keys Brewing & Eatery – great people, good times, beautiful biergarten.
